I’ll be honest, this was not the most appealing looking candy I’ve ever eaten. The package depicts a bright pink cream filled cone treat in a dark black cone with dark black sprinkles on top. Just so you’re aware, this is not actually an ice cream cone, it’s instead a small cone filled with “strawberry” cream and chocolate cookie (like and Oreo) bits on top. There is nothing frozen about this treat at all, but that has nothing to do with why it’s not appealing. The reason it’s not appealing is a problem with the cream, or the lack of it. When I opened the package the cone was barely full of cream, and the inside was totally filled up with the cookie bits. So basically it was entirely black and kind of sad looking.

The cone is also not shaped like a fancy waffle cone, instead it’s more like a tiny black sugar cone. From what I can tell by looking at the package, the theme of this treat is supposed to represent a strawberry cream filled chocolate cookie (or a strawberry Oreo). Leaving behind the fact that no cream was visible, I can kind of see how this worked a little, at least from a texture and slightly from a visual standpoint. It was dark cookie/cone, and bright pink cream was eventually to be found in the centre. The big problem however is the lack of flavour. If you had blindfolded me I would never had said there was anything strawberry like about this treat at all. The cream basically tasted like plain cream, and I’m not even talking about vanilla.

The cookie also added little to no chocolate flavour to this treat either. It was a very sweet but also very bland cookie treat. It’s a shame because based on the package it seems like it could be a really fun and tasty treat. As it stands it fails in both the look and the flavour.
