Dairy Milk "with Crème Egg"

Cadbury

So, the point of this bar is that it's like an Easter Crème Egg, only it's not an egg it's a bar instead. I can see the fact that maybe some people have problems eating the Cadbury Crème Eggs, I mean they do get a little sticky. I guess it's just a little strange to eat something called an egg in bar form. This is a really strange reversal of what most candy companies do during Easter. Normally candy companies want to make their treat Easter friendly, so they make and egg (or bunny) shaped version of their treat. This just seems like a strange direction to go. Why would you take a fun shaped treat and make it boring?

There really isn't that much filling at all in this bar, or at least that's how it would appear. Normally the cream in a Crème Egg is plentiful almost to a fault, but with the bar the chocolate really overpowers everything. To be honest I barely tasted the cream at all. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s not that the lack of cream made this a bad treat. A UK Dairy Milk bar is a nice bar to enjoy always. I guess I'm just disappointed because I really don't get that Crème Egg flavour, just chocolate.

I don't want to say that this is a bad idea, but it is what it is. It's kind of silly to put a fake yolk filled egg cream in a bar. The Crème Egg itself is kind of neat because of it’s shape while this really only makes it ridiculous. Maybe that was the plan.
