This chewy caramel candy is fine. There’s nothing really exciting about it, but it delivers a nice sweet treat. The two main ingredients, chocolate and caramel, are classic flavours that often work well together. I’ve had hundreds of treats with this combination, and this one ranks somewhere in the middle. The quality of the ingredients is also fine, the caramel is chewy and the chocolate was smooth.

If I had to give this chewy treat some credit, I would say it’s the order of ingredients. Most treats have chocolate on the outside and caramel on the inside, but the folks at Primiy went the opposite direction and went chocolate in the middle with caramel on the outside. This is a chewy caramel treats with a log of chocolate in the middle. I’m pretty sure I’ve had a few treats like this, but more often than not candy companies seem to go the other direction.

The main downfall of this treat is simple. I feel like it needs a bit more chocolate to balance everything out. This is very much a caramel-centric treat with a hint of chocolate in the middle. I really had to concentrate to get a good taste of the chocolate, and that’s a little disappointing.

I had a fine enough time eating this candy, but I’m not sure I would suggest that it’s worth travelling to the Middle East just to get one. If you happen to be in the Middle East, and someone hands you a candy bowl filled with treats that you’re unsure of and you see one of these. It’s certainly a safe bet, and I’m sure you’ll be able to politely enjoy this treat.
