I’m not really sure what this candy is, and the illustration of kittens playing on the package does not clear anything up. The name is also very confusing, unless there’s some kind of expression about cute kittens playing with each other, but then kiss kiss might be a little weird. The candy itself doesn’t really clear anything up either. Upon opening the package you’re presented with a long pink log. It appears to be a hard candy, but after sucking on my first one for about 5 seconds I gave it a little test of strength by biting down and instantly went through the very thin hard candy layer.
At this point the flavour of this candy still remains a mystery. I might call it fruity, but very faint and I could not tell you exactly which fruit it’s supposed to be. After a couple of chews I feel like I could also taste a faint chocolate flavour too, but I’m not totally sure. Fortunately I have two of these logs, unfortunately I still couldn’t really make out the flavour of the thin, hard candy shell or the chewy centre. I’ll just have to stick with mystery fruit and maybe some chocolate.
Maybe someone with more historical knowledge and an ability to read Finnish might be able to help me clear some things up, but for now I’ll just go with my vague guess. Of all the Fazer treats I’ve eaten, this is probably not one of my favourites. It is very unique, especially compared to other Fazer treats, but it’s just not for me. It’s also very confusing to someone who doesn’t have any context and can’t read Finnish.
