I like it when candy companies twist around common candy conventions. I particularly like it when they twist the convention and it works. For example, if you open any (heart shaped?) box of assorted chocolates, I can pretty much guarantee one thing, you will get a chocolate covered caramel. It’s pretty much a standard in any classic box of chocolates. It’s not a bad thing, but it’s nothing that new or innovative either. The folks at Pascall have taken a new twist on the same idea.
Instead of getting chocolate covered caramel we get caramel covered chocolate. It’s flipping the common conventions of the chocolate world, and it works. These Eclairs have a nice smooth taste and just the right amount of chocolate and caramel to balance it out perfectly. The only thing I couldn't figure out was this odd slight crunch where the chocolate meets the caramel. It was an odd texture, but it didn't ruin this treat at all.
If your looking to get something sweet for the office and you need a little class, these are the perfect treats for you. They’re creative, but still made up of flavours you know and love.
