So, this is the first time I've ever reviewed any flavour of Jelly Bellies. You'd think I would have done it a while ago, but the problem was always the selection. For the first and maybe only time in my life the choice was difficult due to an over abundance of selection. I’ve often walked by bulk bins full of Jelly Bellies and wondered how I would choose which flavour to review. So, after working it out, and limiting my choices down I decided to finally review Buttered Popcorn Jelly Bellies.

Now the thing about these buttered popcorn Jelly Bellies is if you eat just the one flavour you're in for a big surprise. The surprise being that they actually kind of taste like buttered popcorn. I can't put my finger on why they taste like butter popcorn but they just do. Of coarse you have to ask yourself if this is in fact a pleasant thing. Many people would say no, but I have to disagree, I kind of like these little beans.

It could be because I am a huge fan of buttered popcorn, and I've even been known to try a few recipes for popcorn that include both butter and sugar. I’m not adverse to the idea of buttered popcorn being sweet or savory, and these are certainly in the sweet category.
So, these generally do okay for me. I also have to hand it to Jelly Belly for creating such a flavour. This flavour is really revolutionary and although now they have a whole bunch of strange flavours, this was one of their first really odd flavours and it still holds up today.
