I start to wonder what shape Reese won’t or hasn’t put peanut butter into. I can’t really complain that much because these little bite sized pumpkins are pretty tasty, but I wonder if there’s a limit to their peanut butter filled ideas. As always with Reese, the chocolate to peanut butter ratio is nice and the chocolate in this case is ok. The pumpkins even look pretty neat too. They didn’t dress them up too much by putting a silly Jack-o-lantern grin on it.
I guess I’m just wondering what’s wrong with getting a regular shaped cup for Halloween. I didn’t find these particularly fun to eat, at least no more fun than regular cups. This is just me complaining once again about getting a treat that’s so similar to others and not that unique. Sure, it’s a different shape, but why not try a different flavour, like pumpkin seed butter or something. I don’t know, I’m not a candy creator or anything but I’m sure they have some great candy developers at Reese that would love to do more than just make their cups into different shapes.
I’m done ranting for now, and I have to say that these Peanut Butter Pumpkins are a tasty little treat. I don’t want you to get the wrong idea that I didn’t like them, I just wish they could have gone that little bit further and made them something truly unique.
