It's time for a little Candy Critic confession. The day I wrote this review was not the first time I've eaten these Toffee-Ettes. In fact, I opened this container of Toffee-Ettes just to have a sample a few weeks ago, and I’ve had a hard time saving a couple of them to do a review. These things are addictive, I eat one and then have to eat another, and another, and another. There are just certain candies that have some kind spell over me. They’re satisfying to eat, and whenever I’m nearing the end of one, all I can think about is eating another. This can be problematic when I get to the last one.

I think this addiction comes from a nice balance of sweet and nutty that you find with eat Toffee Ette. The chocolate and toffee mix so well with all the nuts in this treat that it seems to create a perfectly balanced flavour and texture. The quality of the ingredients is also really great, if any of the ingredients weren’t top notch, it would have thrown out the whole balance. I have to say that once again the Southern U.S. has pulled through with an awesome snack.

These Toffee-Ettes are great and I have no more left, so when Christmas comes around if you want to get something for your favourite Candy Critic, I recommend getting me about 100 lbs of these. I’ll probably also need a membership at a local gym because I'm going to sit down and eat them all.
