This candy was both kind of unique and average at the same time. The unique thing about these gummies is something I had to research a little. What I had discovered is that I had actually reviewed very few strawberry gummy candies before. I went through my collection of reviews and found That I’ve only tasted a few strawberry gummy candies in my life, and very few (only one) that didn’t come packaged with other fruit flavoured gummies. What I’m saying is, in my findings strawberry flavoured gummies are far more rare than you would imagine, particularly packaged on their own.

The average part of this candy is ironically sort of the interesting thing too. These are just strawberry flavoured gummies. They taste like many of the other fake-ish strawberry flavoured candies I’ve had in the past. There’s nothing really unique about this strawberry flavour other than it’s an uncommon flavour for gummies apparently. They certainly didn’t taste bad, they just didn’t wow me either.

I guess I was expecting something a little different since they’re based on a Baskin Robins ice cream flavour. It was actually a flavour of ice cream that I really enjoyed as a kid too. Very Berry Strawberry in ice cream form actually tastes more like strawberries in cream than just strawberries. It also has real strawberry pieces throughout. The ice cream is rich and creamy, while these gummies just taste like fake strawberries.

I can’t say that I didn’t like these, I just wasn’t impressed. With a brand like Baskin Robins behind it, I was expecting so much more.
