Brazil Nut Toffee

Walkers'

If you've browsed other parts of this site, you may have noticed that I'm a big fan of British chocolate. It's smooth, it melts in your mouth, it's just good stuff. Well, I just might have to add British toffee to the list now as well. I'm not too experienced in the British toffee department, but if this is any indication, I'm hooked.

This stuff tastes real; this is what I expect toffee to be like. Mix it with a nut that isn't too common but still tasty, and I think you have a winner. The great thing about it is the creaminess. I can't describe it but for some reason it just tastes heavy and sweet and that's just what I like. I don't want toffee to be over-whipped or filled with too many fillers. Walkers' has taken a sweet treat, made it simple, and given it an interesting nutty twist.

I can't finish this review without mentioning the one thing that I could do without. This particular snack has given me my first ever injury due to candy. Trying to break and bite this bar is a bit of a challenge and I managed to give myself a bloody knuckle trying to break this bar in half. I'm not sure how you'd fix this problem, but I now have a scare to prove it is a problem.
