Little buttons of chocolate, isn't that cute. These remind me of the little circles of chocolate people use for baking. It makes me think of the caramel cube (often made by Kraft), it was originally designed for baking but evolved into a tasty treat on its own. Maybe that’s what Cadbury was going for with these, maybe they’re taking a popular baking ingredient and transforming it into a candy treat.
So, what can I say about these treats? Well they work in the simplest of ways. They're chocolate, good quality chocolate. That’s something that can’t be oversold enough. Had these been made with a lesser quality of chocolate they would have been a complete failure Design wise they really don't have much else going for them, except maybe that you can share them with ease. The fact that the design is really simple isn’t really a problem, the simplicity of this treat could be ruined very easily by adding extra superfluous items or just ruining the chocolate.
I have to say that the only downfall of this treat is the dirty hand issue. High-quality chocolate melts very easily and this is no exception. So, when you put them in your hand, you better pop it in your mouth quick or you'll end up with a sticky mess. While this is a problem, it’s the best problem you could hope for.
