These bears suffer from a warm climate. Unfortunately I’m not sure if the warm climate is the reason for every strange thing and problem with these bears, or if it has something to do with the manufacturing. The thing about them being in a warm climate is they were made in this warm climate in order to be sold in this warm climate. It’s not like a candy that’s made someplace with a cooler climate that is then imported into a place with a warmer climate. What I’m saying is the people who made these gummies should have thought of ways to make sure that the problems that come with selling certain candies in warm climates were dealt with. Although I could be wrong, and the issues are just a choice in the manufacturing, in which case it is some pretty odd choices.

The first thing I noticed about these bears is that they were stuck together in a clump. They were easy enough to pull apart, but they held together in one piece as I pulled them out of the package. I’ll admit that it was kind of fun to pull them apart, so I guess if this was planned it was kind of fun. The second problem was that there seemed to be some kind of strange crusty coating on the outside of the bears. Again, I’m not sure if this was on purpose, or if there used to be be a powdered sugar coating that melted, or maybe the gummies just dried out. I wasn’t as big a fan of this issue, it didn’t ruin the candy but it wasn’t overly pleasant either.

Flavour wise there were actually pretty good. The fruit flavours were tasty, and each colour had a distinct flavour. The flavours were a little bit unique, particularly with red strawberry and green apple. I’m not really sure what I was supposed to be getting with this bag of gummy bears. There was either a big problem with shipping and shelf life, or there was a company trying to do something really unique with this treat. I’m going to guess it was problems, and score them appropriately. If you happen to be the makers of this gummy bear treat and I’m wrong, let me know and I’m happy to change my score.
