Small gummy hippos, with soft white marshmallow like backs and what I believe is a softer centre. The translucent gummy part is fairly basic, mine happened to be a little bit cold (I was eating them in the winter) so they were a bit more challenging to chew than most gummies. Either the cold heavily effected the soft centres, or it’s possible that the centre is very similar to the regular gummy. There was a slight difference between the two, but it was a subtle difference. The marshmallow white gummy portion was as fluffy as most other marshmallow gummies, which was amazing considering the cold conditions.

Flavour wise I’ll give these a bit of a pass. The problem might be considered a perk to some. The thing is, I assume because the gummies were cold that they didn’t have a strong flavour at first, it took a few chews to get the flavour going. My assumption is that it was because of the cold, but honestly I didn’t mind it at all. In fact if it happens that these are actually like that warm, I might consider it a unique twist. The flavours themselves were pretty basic fake fruits, although a little perfumy and hard to pinpoint.

It’s also worth noting that the colours are very pastel like. The red is most obvious as it is pink and not red. I didn’t mind the hippo shapes either, but part of me thinks they would have been better if they were hippos from the top down like they were swimming in water.
