Punch is a good way to describe the flavour of these little cream filled tubes. The cherry flavour is super powerful and even a little bit sour. In fact, it's one of the most powerful cherry flavours I think I've ever had in my life. The last winner of that prize might have been cherry Jolly Ranchers, but I can safely say that this is a little bit more powerful than those. It might not linger as long as a Jolly Rancher, but it has a big punch.

I'm not sure if I really understand the colour choice or the style of this candy though. What does blue have to do with cherries, or punch? Maybe it was a choice just for contrast, if so, I guess it works. The blue does contrast with the red straws pretty intensely. I'm also not sure what the blue stuff in the middle of these tubes is, or how it helps the treat. It's like a soft spongy cream, and I'm pretty sure that's where most of the flavour is coming from.

I guess I can't complain about the look and texture because I think these treats are pretty good. I just can't figure out how they made the choices they made when designing these fun little straws.
