This milk chocolate bar is a really hard bar to rank. Calling it the best chocolate bar in the world isn’t fair, as there are better chocolate bars out there. I wouldn’t even rank it as the best mass produced chocolate bar in the world. However, it’s no where even closes to being the worst, in fact it’s much higher than average. It’s a really good milk chocolate bar, a great chocolate bar even. If you like milk chocolate you’ll very much agree that this bar is great, but if you’ve tried many different milk chocolates (both mass produced and otherwise) you’ll probably agree that it’s not the best.
The faults of this bar are slight, but I’ll try and break them down. The first fault is the ratio of creaminess to cocoa. While I understand that this is milk chocolate, I feel like this bar is just slightly too creamy. I’d prefer a little more cocoa, it doesn’t have to be dark chocolate just a smidgen more would do. The texture of this bar is also close to perfection, but it just feels a slightly bit off. It melts easily (it leaves your fingers with that wonderful film of chocolate), but it just doesn’t seem to feel as smooth as some other bars. It’s an extremely subtle difference, but it’s just a little off.
Let me set one thing straight, if you see this bar and you want to enjoy some milk chocolate, go for it. The only way you might be a little disappointed with this bar is if you eat one of the very few better chocolate bars out there right after. In order for this bar to fall short it must be surrounded by giants, and there are few bars out there taller… but there are a few.
