I have to admit that this little cube was filled with a great deal of mystery. I also have to admit that I didn't read the fine print on this little square at all (that’s me being lazy more than anything else). So basically, I was baffled by a little square of Wrigley’s chewing gum, how sad is that? I was not only flummoxed by this candy, I also got really over excited about a little cube of Wrigley’s chewing gum. There was a great deal of emotion going on before I even unwrapped it.
Normally when I get confused and excited about a treat like this, it doesn’t live up to the hype that’s in my head, but it's not that the peppermint cube of gum was that disappointing. I mean it delivered what your average pack of gum would deliver. That classic Double Mint type flavour in little Chiclet sized squares. The flavour as usual didn't last very long, but while was there the flavour was tasty. It's actually kind of strange because Wrigley’s gum has its own find style of peppermint flavour. It's not like any other flavour of peppermint gum that I’ve tasted before, yet I'd still call it peppermint.
The only thing I found different about this gum compared to other Wrigley’s gums was the aftertaste. It was different, and I didn't really like it either. I find the Double Mint gum often leaves me with no real aftertaste to speak of, but this P.K Pepmint Chewing Gum left a slightly metallic kind of yucky flavour that I frankly didn't care for.
