Reese Peanut Butter Cups

Reese

The Reese Peanut Butter Cups is one of my favorite bars ever. I’ve used the word classic to describe many candies on this site, but the Reese Peanut Butter Cup is like one of the grand old classic treat, at least for me. There are candies out there that are older than the Reese Peanut Butter Cup, but not so many that have affected my love of candy. There is at no point in my life that I did not have these around me, and there was at not point where I would have not enjoyed eating one of these. This is one of the few bars that never had a phase in my life, it was always a good option in my opinion.

The Reese Peanut Butter Cup blends chocolate and peanut butter perfectly. This is one of the reasons that this treat works so well. The folks at Reese understand chocolate to peanut butter ratio better than just about anybody else. The other thing that makes these great is the unique shape. You don’t just get a bar filled with peanut butter, instead you get three (or sometimes two) cups filled with peanut butter. This makes for a fun eating experience, and also makes this much easier to share/save for later.

Recently I've noticed a lot of smaller candy makers imitating the design of the Reese Peanut Butter Cup as well, and as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Reese Cups unique to Reese, no, but great none the less.
