It's the beginning of Spring and what better way to kick off the season than with a fun ice cream treat, and what could be more fun than SpongeBob Squarepants. With treats like these, I always think that the goal of the ice cream maker is novelty first. I certainly didn't buy this treat because I thought that the ice cream would be of the highest standards, I bought it because I like SpongeBob Squrepants. The first question then should be if it in fact looked like SpongeBob, and the answer is not really. While the shape of SpongeBob Squarepants lends itself well to a square shaped ice cream treat, it could have used a little work.

After the look of the treat, the next important detail is how does it taste. I can’t say that this ice cream tasted amazing, but in general the flavour was good. It was obviously cheap ice cream, when you compare it to Häagen-Dazs or Ben & Jerry's but I enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t just frozen juice. The fact that it was ice cream gave it a nice smooth texture along with a fake fruity flavour.

Fun is what its all about when you eat something like this SpongeBob Squarepants ice cream and with a smile like that on the pack, that is what your going to get.
