This treat almost is exactly what it says it is a jellybean flavoured with the classic Starburst flavours. There are a few small differences worth noting though. First of all, it has all of the great taste of Starburst with a new flavor, Green Apple. I’ll tell you right off the bat that made me a little nervous, and rightfully so. I generally don’t like apple flavours, and green apple is often the apple flavour I hate most.

Secondly is the obvious difference, they are in fact jellybeans. While shape is not everything, I found the texture to be fairly different than your classic Starbursts. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, but I would certainly call them different.

The final difference is that fact that they’re sour. These Starburst Sour Jellybeans have a sour kick to them. They’re not so bad that it makes you wish for death, but just enough to give you the sour fix you might be looking for. Since I'm a big fan of Starburst I thought that these treats were great. The texture was fine and the sour kick worked for me.

The only problem had to be the apple flavor. For some reason I have yet to find many candy companies that can get that apple flavor just right, and these Starburst Sour Jellybeans are no exception.
