The Sweet Marie is a fine bar and a yummy treat. It’s one of those bars that I’ve always had around me, but I don’t think it’s ever been my favourite bar. I can’t remember a time in my life when I would go out in search of a Sweet Marie bar. It’s always surrounded by other bars that I would want more, and so it would regularly get left behind. In fact, I’m not really sure why I’ve tried this bar before. I know I’ve had one before, and more than just on Halloween, but I can’t really remember a day in my life when I would have bought one.

The Sweet Marie has a caramel fudgy center and it’s covered with peanuts and chocolate it's really what I would call your average bar. In fact, it's very similar to many bars I've had like the Oh Henry!, so it doesn’t feel too original. The most interesting part of this bar has to be the nuts. The nuts are either a different variety or they're toasted differently than what you find in most bars, all I know is that they have a stronger flavor to them. I may not enjoy eating these nuts alone, but in this bar they really are nice.

I'm not too sure if special peanuts really excels this bar into a separate category, this bar is not bad, but it's also fairly average.
