Switmax

Torku

When I first bought this bar, I thought I would have a tasty treat to review. I did everything I have to do to prepare for a review. I photographed the bar, I took note of the company that made it, and I sat down in front of my computer ready to type out a review.

I can't say that I was expecting much from this bar, it was cheap, it didn't seem to be that original, I figured it'd be a fairly "blah" bar. This bar exceeded my expectations so far that it might be the worst candy bar I've ever eaten in my life. I'm not saying that it's the worst flavour I've ever tasted, this bar is far worse than that, this bar was not only gross, but disappointing, and un-original as well. This bar was so disappointing, I actually contemplated the idea of not bothering with the review, I didn't want to give them any publicity at all. But a few loyal followers and friends told me I should write this review, to help the world avoid this horrible bar.

What you have at the heart of the Switmax bar is a Snicker's rip off, nougat, caramel, peanuts, and chocolate. All layered together, exactly as the Snicker's bar is layered. So right off the bat you lose all credibility for novelty or originality since you just ripped off an already popular candy bar. To make matters worse, the chocolate was crappy, the nougat and caramel was flavourless, and the peanuts were almost non-existent. Don't get me wrong, I was pretty happy about the lack of peanuts, only because the ones I did mange to find were completely rancid. The texture of this bar disappointed as well, the chocolate was hard, the nougat was whipped so much that it felt like air, and the caramel was runny (not the kind of caramel you want in this format of bar).

I've eaten many a Snicker's rip off bar in my life, but this one was the worst. It's easily the worst candy bar I've ever eaten.
