Boy, I “wunder” if this bar’s going to be any good...(I hear crickets)... Well, you're not here to listen to my candy puns, and that's probably a good thing. I mean if you like them feel free to send me letter of encouragement, maybe I’ll write a book of candy puns in the future.

The Wunderbar is one of those treats that I've eaten many times since starting this site, and I only recently realized that I had not yet reviewed it. This came to me in the form of an e-mail from one of my readers. I find that I often overlook some of my favourite candies and treats because I either assume that I must have reviewed them already, or I just can’t seem to find the words to describe the treats I love. This bar probably fits into both of these categories. I probably have thought about reviewing this bar before, but each time I can’t think about what to write. I’ve probably also tried to convince myself that I probably already wrote the review, so why bother.

The Wunderbar is great, but only if you love peanut butter. I guess you have to be into caramel too, but if you love peanut butter, this is the bar for you. Personally, I think there might be a little too much peanut butter in the Wunderbar. Although I love caramel and I’m pretty good with peanut butter as well, I found the mix made me really thirsty after finishing this bar. I'm a big fan of balance in a treat, and this bar doesn't have it. What it does have is great ingredients. The peanut butter is just crunchy enough, the caramel has a nice consistency, and even the chocolate is fine.

Peanut butter lovers rejoice. The rest of us can just enjoy an ok bar.
