Decidedly average, that's all I can say about the flavour of this bag of crunchy little noodles. It's supposed to taste like noodles boiled in a pork-based broth, but really it just tastes kind of salty. It would have been nice if it had a slightly smoky flavour, or maybe something a little less salty and a little meatier. I'm not sure how one exactly makes something taste like pork broth, but these noodles most certainly did not achieve it.
Texture wise I'm
a big fan of random crunchy noodle snacks, and these don't disappoint. They're
perfectly sized for munching, not too big and not too small. They have a
nice little crunch that doesn't hurt the mouth, but also doesn't leave it
feeling like it wants more crunch.
I always find it really hard to review a treat that just leaves me feeling blah. I can't really say anything that bad about these noodles, they were by no means gross. They just didn't have anything particular about them at all either. I'm often happier to get a treat that I don't like but find to be creative, over a treat that tastes fine and doesn't really shine.
So, what I'm saying is, if you have a bag of these you'll be fine, but there are better and more creative salty snacks in the world worth sampling.
