I had no idea what to expect when I opened this package, yet I was totally disappointed when I opened it. There are two compartments to this package, one is in the shape of the ice cream, the other is in the shape of the cone. My only guess as to what this might have contained is that I figured there were two different treats in each package. I was hoping that somehow these two treats would combine together to make something ultra tasty and fun. I assumed that it was chocolate flavoured, but I also figured that it might have some kind of ice cream theme, other than just the shape of the package. This was a wild and vague guess, and it was pretty much wrong.
The only thing that was right about my guess is that there is a chocolate flavour involved. The top portion of this treat (the part shaped like the ice cream) was full of chocolate and tiny round cookies. The chocolate was the highlight of this entire treat, and it wasn’t great. The cookies had almost no flavour. The cookies did offer a little crunch, but I’m not sure I was looking for crunch in the ice cream portion of the snack. While this top portion was not great, the bottom portion was utterly, shamefully disappointing.
The bottom portion of this cone contained a small green plastic comb. I assume the comb would be used to style a doll’s hair as it was way too small to style a human’s hair. It measured about one inch long. I was totally surprised by this in the worst way possible. While I can admit that I could not read most of the writing on this package, I will say that visually, and the small amount of English on the package, did not say anything about there being a “prize” with this treat.
There are certain prizes that might have been okay with this treat. Maybe some kind of eraser shaped like an ice cream cone, or even some kind of miniature ice cream toy. A comb is exactly the kind of prize that gives me a very large feeling of disappointment. To me a comb is the worst prize you can get at an arcade or fair. The fact that it’s so small makes it worse.
